2010 Volunteers head to Africa

It’s that time of year again and the first group of 2010 volunteers headed off to Africa last Saturday. Destined for Zambia, Rwanda and Uganda, the country team coordinators have set off in advance of the rest of their team to meet up with the Camara host partners and prepare for the IT training programmes ahead. The teams will follow this weekend, ready to start teaching a range of IT courses including Networking, PC Maintenance, Web Design, Linux Administration and ICT Pedagogy. Excitment levels are high as the final preparations are put in place and last minute packing tips are sent from their team coordinators in country! More to follow……..
