Lord Mayor of Derry Meets Camara Africa ’09 Volunteers
On Thursday 11th June the new Derry Mayor, Councillor Liam Fleming, hosted Camara Africa ’09 volunteers in the civic office of the Guildhall, Guildhall Square, Derry. The Mayor acknowledged the contribution these volunteers will be making to the enhancement of IT training in seven countries in Africa.

First Belfast shipment dispatched
Camara Belfast shipped off their first consignment of computers this Wednesday from their newly opened workshop, in Townsend Enterprise Park, with the help of Tom Hartley, Lord Mayor of Belfast.

Information Session for Africa 09 Belfast Tuesday 17th February
Last night 20 people attended the information session for Africa ’09. Maureen, Caitrina and John from Africa 08 joined Kirsty from the Dublin office and Ann (Belfast Coordinator) in the Belfast workshop to welcome the newcomers.
The interest and quality of the questions which those attending displayed augurs well for the ’09 programme.
