While our core objective is to improve formal educational attainment, there is clearly huge potential for technology to advance social issues. To date we’ve developed material around both HIV/AIDS Education and Disability, with Nutrition on the way. Mainstreaming these issues [...]

As I look down to the deep blue sea I remember a book I read recently (“I am Justice” by Paul Kenyon) which describes an African’s journey to the promised land of Europe. It also brings back memories of 11 years ago [...]
Camara work with Action Zambia
Action Zambia bought 100 computers from Camara last April. During their visit to Zambia in June/July they signed agreements with 5 schools in Kalomo and Lusaka for the delivery of these computers. They also met with the local Ministry of Education officer ( DEBs) who agreed to oversee the installation of the machines as well [...]

Rob Stringer RIP
Nearly a year ago on August 7th, 2009 at 12noon, I arrived back at
Camara’s workshop in Dublin to be met at the door by Hester Jackman,
our Volunteer Coordinator. She asked me to come up to her office where
two other members of staff were waiting, and [...]
