Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteer in our workshop

Camara’s work in Africa, Jamaica and Ireland makes a real difference to the lives of thousands of people. You can be an important part of that work. We need your help in our workshop in Dublin. Not only is it a great chance to give something back, but it is an opportunity to learn more about computers and technology. It’s a welcoming atmosphere down in the workshop with lots of people of all ages donating their time and skills to help do something really worthwhile!

Camara provide structured placements to those who have recently completed a PC Maintenance or similar course and welcome applications for those seeking work experience. As these places are limited, please contact us with your required dates so we can look at scheduling you in.

We also give tours of the Chapelizod Camara workshop every:

  • Thurs at 6pm

We’ll tell you a bit more about Camara and the work we do. As well as give you a tour of the workshop, show you how we refurbish the computers and let you know how you can get involved.
