Volunteering In Africa
Camara volunteer helps out in the classroom
Camara believe that education can make a fundamental and life changing difference to the people of Africa and in particular the young people of Africa.
By refurbishing and sending PCs to Africa, Camara have completed the first stage of our mission. In order to ensure that there are people with the skills to use, maintain and learn from the PCs, we send over volunteers who then share their IT skills and interest with our partners and with local schools.
The project is also designed to strengthen our partnerships in Africa and to develop an interest and understanding of education through IT.
