As well as helping us in our selection of volunteers, it will also guide us in matching you to a suitable role and building teams with the right mix of skills and experience.
Please note as part of the recruitment process Camara require candidates to attend interviews and training weekends in Dublin and other parts of Ireland. Candidates will be required to cover the cost of their own travel and accommodation.
Recruitment
Short listed applicants will be invited in to the workshop at Camara Dublin/Belfast to give a short presentation on an IT related topic to Camara staff and other A10 applicants.
The aim of the presentation is to teach the group something, this could be from, an introduction to networking, to how to attach accessories (monitor, keyboard, mouse etc) to a computer. For presentation guidelines and a list of presentation suggestions please click here.
Don’t worry though! We won’t be grading anyone, just trying to get to know you better and learn about where your skills fit into the Camara Africa ‘10 project.
All candidates will be notified by email on the outcome of their application.
Closing date for applications is Friday 26th March 2010.
However, it’s best to get your application in early as places are limited. The first round of presentations days will begin in January and we will begin accepting participates shortly after.
