‘Get your company to join us for a ‘Day with a Difference’
Follow in the footsteps of rugby legend Jamie Heaslip and ace cricketer Trent Johnson and get your company to join Camara Education for a ‘Day with a Difference’.
An exciting office team building event, we ask companies to join us to pack a 40ft container with computers for shipping to Africa. It is aimed at smaller office groups (10-15 people) Duration is half-day. Located at our workshop at Camara Education, Chapelizod Industrial Estate, Dublin 20.
Companies are given a workshop tour and informed of the stages each computer goes through before it is reused in an African school. All those who part-take receive t-shirts, certificates and photo-ops for internal company publications. To help cover the costs of shipping the container to Africa, we ask for a financial contribution of €200 per person participating.
Company feedback has been extremely positive. It is a finite, tangible and enjoyable activity that teams while contributing to a good cause, also find enjoyable and rewarding. Companies also have the chance to take the ‘Camara Container Challenge’ and beat Jamie Heaslip and Trent Johnson’s packing record.
